Rising Miami Dolphins lands Super Bowl winner Jalen Ramsey in blockbuster NFL commercial

Jalen Ramsey is going where he wants to be.

In a blockbuster deal, the Rams are sending the star back to the Dolphins to be picked in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft and close Hunter Long, according to multiple reports.

The deal is expected to become official when the new league year begins on Wednesday.

“I have been specifically praying for this for about a month and now it is happening! @MiamiDolphins LETSGO!,” Ramsey wrote on Twitter.

This comes after the Dolphins released Bryon Jones, a 2020 freelance agency acquisition from the Dallas Cowboys.

Jones’ release freed up US$13.6 million (AU$20.5 million) in captivity and made the Ramsey acquisition a reality.

Ramsey, 28, was ranked 5th overall in 2016 by the Jaguars and is a six-time professional bowler.

He was traded to the Rams during the 2019 season and helped Los Angeles win the 2022 Super Bowl.

Ramsey is a proven commodity in the NFL as one of the elite players at fullback.

In what many consider to be a slump, Ramsey was rated the third-best full-back in the NFL in 2022, according to Pro Football Focus, behind only Patrick Surtain II and Sauce Gardner.

He had 4 interceptions and 18 saves last season. Ramsey will receive $25 million in additional security over the next two years as part of the transaction, according to NFL Network.
